This is my favorite so far in this series。 I am also excited for future books to include cold cases and active cases —- the best of both！ Read the series or you can read this as a stand-alone; either way read this book。 Also the acknowledgments and dedication tied to covid is touching and heartfelt。 Another wonderful read from Robert Dugoni — sure hope he has already started book #9 😁。

I don’t know why I still get surprised when Dugoni throws me a curve ball in one of his books。 I should be used to it by now。 Another excellent installment in the Tracy Crosswhite series。 You could certainly start the series here if you haven’t read any already， but why would you when you can start from the beginning？ Each and every title is well worth reading。 As usual， great narration on the audiobook。

So goodI can’t get enough。 This is yet another well written story。 I did not want to put it down。 This book made actually say “wow” out loud。 I love that even though the cases Tracey works can be dark， the story does have its tender moments and even humorous ones。 Such a good read。

This was a riveting and intense book！ Tracy has been on leave for a bit longer and she has been reassigned to a cold case unit but I was happy that we were able to see her work alongside Kins。 There’s a couple of investigations that Tracy is investigating。 I enjoyed the investigations and as the story progressed I was glued to the book。 It certainly had a few plot twists that I didn’t see coming。 A page turner indeed！

Get the book and take the rest of the day off！！This has got to be the best Tracy Crosswhite book to date。 However， I say that after each book。 The emotions in this book are off the scale。 The struggle of good versus evil is real。 Tracy finds years of debauchery hidden in plain sight and familial torture in the name of love。 Trust her to find the main road to justice for both。 Outstanding！！ I hope the next one #9 shows up sooner rather than later！
